Texas needs your help!

Hurricane Harvey has caused hundreds of families to be displaced, with limited clean water, food, clothes, shelter, and so much more. My mission is to help Houston in any way that I can. While many people have already contributed to different Houston reform programs I felt need to take a stand. Houston has been my home for years up until now and it’s a must for me to give back. Star of Hope is a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting needs of homeless families. Star of Hope has been of service to Houston since 1907, and has assisted over 6,812 families.  Due to the damage done in Houston I ask for assistance in hopes to help as many families as possible with your donations, or time as a volunteer.  Anything helps, and everything would be greatly appreciated. Donations will be used assist the homless that utilize the Star of Hopes facility. Ongoing needs, and urgent needs will be posted below. All donations can be brought to the following address on Friday, December 23, 2017 to insure all parties are recognized for their donations. We will also purchase fresh water, food, clothes, and more to assist with rebuilding within Texas.

Painting by Mo will be partnering up with Star of Hope on Friday, December 23, 2017 to feed the homeless. If you’d like to lend a helping hand to those who are in need please contact me via e-mail  at (Paintingbymo@gmail.com) with your name, email, phone number, and what you’d like to assist with. I will be in Houston on the following event day to insure that all donations are given properly to the people effected by Hurricane Harvey, as well as those who are homeless and in need. We are looking for approximately 10 volunteers for this event.
